Trust Nurse Services is seeking motivated and forward-thinking Registered General Nurses to work agency shifts.
We are looking for proactive and dedicated Registered General nurses to support our NHS clients in (West London). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the ability to communicate effectively with patients and others & the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for patients.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate patient progress.
Administer treatments.
Identify changes in a patient’s condition and react accordingly.
Maintain patient records.
Complete the paperwork necessary for patient transfer out of the intensive care unit.
Respiratory Medicine ward/ Surgical ward/ Critical Care/Respiratory Medicine ward.
Caring for patients for respiratory assessment having treatment like non-invasive nasal ventilation, CPAP therapy and or oxygen therapy.
Experience:
6 months experience working at a relevant level within the community in the UK.
Has a full UK driving license and access to an insured car daily.
Effective communication skills written, verbal and non-verbal with the ability to adapt communication for individuals with communication difficulties.
Able to make clinically reasoned judgements when working with a variety of conditions.
Able to work autonomously, and ability to know when to seek appropriate advice/guidance from senior staff.
Effective time management and caseload management.
Good problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of clinical outcomes measures, and clinical audit.
Management of long-term conditions and palliative care.
Aware of safeguarding adults.
