Trust Nurse Services is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated General Nurse (RGN) to support our NHS clients in Essex. We are offering long-term contracts as well as Ad-Hoc shift work as well as competitive rates of pay and mileage.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate patient progress.
Administer treatments.
Identify changes in a patient’s condition and react accordingly.
Maintain patient records.
Complete the paperwork necessary for patient transfers out of the intensive care unit.
Respiratory Medicine ward/ Surgical ward/ Critical Care/Respiratory Medicine ward
Caring for patients for respiratory assessment having treatment like non-invasive nasal ventilation, CPAP therapy and or oxygen therapy
Experience:
6 months experience working at a relevant level in the UK.
Able to work within a diverse community of patients and healthcare professionals.
Effective communication skills written, verbal and non-verbal with the ability to adapt communication for individuals with communication difficulties.
Able to make clinically reasoned judgements when working with a variety of conditions.
Able to work autonomously, and ability to know when to seek appropriate advice/guidance from senior staff.
Effective time management and caseload management.
Good problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of clinical outcomes measures and clinical audits.
Experience with EMIS, undertaking assessments, and providing holistic care to elderly patients on DN caseload.
Management of long-term conditions and palliative care.
Aware of safeguarding adults.
Search for health needs and work with the core and wider MDT to meet patient needs.

To register, you must have the following:
Valid Registration with the NMC
Recent PMVA Training
A valid DBS subscribed to the update service
Recent & relevant 6 months of experience within the NHS or Private Healthcare setting
Evidence of immunisations to MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tuberculosis.
